For Loro Piana's 'Baby Cashmere Jubilee' a capsule collection was shown through a worldwide roll-out of pop-up shops in the most renowned retail locations in Beijing, Hong Kong, London, Taipei, Singapore and Shanghai, with final stops in Tokyo and X'ian. The design of "Dunes of Pure Rarity" made customers traverse Loro Piana's world of cashmere, within a landscape that reminds of the areas where the rarefied Capra Hircus goat is bred. Thousands of cashmere threads shape dunes like mountain ranges and take customers on an immersive journey that captures the path of cashmere, from combed fibres to the finest of textiles. Subtle digital installations allow clients to activate sensors when touching bales of cashmere, bringing up information about the production process, while a built-in cinema shows Loro Piana short-films.
